Boycott Malvern's Vanguard, Parkland Shooting Survivor Says
David Hogg, who has been a prominent voice in the gun debate following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting, called for a boycott.

MALVERN, PA – David Hogg, a survivor of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and now prominent gun control voice, has called for the boycott of Malvern's Vanguard.
Hogg, 18, tweeted the call for a boycott on Tuesday, April 17.
Vanguard, Hogg says in his tweet, is one of the "biggest investors in gun manufacturers."

"If you use them, feel free to let them know," he said.
In addition to Vanguard, Hogg's tweet also called out investment firm BlackRock for investing in gun manufacturers.

Vanguard officials told the Associated Press that 359 of the company’s 388 funds do not directly invest in the top three gun manufacturers.
The Feb. 14 shooting at the Parkland, Florida high school left 17 people dead.
Nikolas Cruz, 19, faces 17 counts of first-degree murder and 17 counts of attempted murder related to the shooting.
