BREAKING: Suspected Cop Killer Frein Captured
After nearly two months on the lam, the suspect has been located in Monroe County.
Eric Frien, the man suspected in the Sept. 12 ambush and murder of a Pennsylvania State Trooper, has been captured.
According to multiple media reports, Frein was captured in Monroe County. No additional details were available Thursday evening.
Frein was on the FBI’s Most Wanted List, sought in connection with the Sept. 12 murder of Cpl. Bryon Dickson. Trooper Alex T. Douglass also was wounded in the shooting outside the Blooming Grove State Police Barracks.
