Students will learn how to use their body weight effectively, prevent strain and injury, and develop sustainable techniques that support long-term career health. The course also introduces practical self-care strategies—including stretching, strengthening, breath awareness, and recovery practices—to promote physical resilience, mental clarity, and professional longevity. This class builds awareness, confidence, and healthy habits from the very beginning.
In this interactive hands-on BASIC Introductory class, you will learn:

3. Benefits &amp; Contraindications
4. Specific techniques for basic training
For all Modality classes: Please wear comfortable, flexible clothing. Bring a set of sheets and blanket for your table and your preferred lotion or oil. Notebook and pen or pencil for notes.

An introductory class to Deep Tissue Massage techniques provides students with a foundational understanding of how to work with the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This course covers the principles of applying slow, focused pressure to release chronic tension, improve mobility, and address areas of muscular restriction. Students will learn basic techniques such as stripping and friction, while also gaining awareness of proper body mechanics to protect themselves during treatment. Designed for beginners, the class emphasizes safety, client communication, and building confidence in applying deeper pressure effectively and comfortably.

In this Hands-On interactive course, you will learn Range of Motion cupping with a focus on Sliding/Movement Cupping.
Instructor: Jim Earley LMT, NCBTMB Provider
Cups will be placed on various areas of the body and then placed on the various muscle groups while moving through the range of motion. This will allow a deeper release of t stagnation and inflammation. This allows the client to experience a deeper release and relief from pain. We will be performing these techniques on various muscle groups on the upper and lower body, such as traps, rhomboids, lats, pectorals, quadratus lumborum, SI area, glute medius, hamstring, gastroc, soleus, tibialis anterior, quadriceps, TFL, biceps, triceps, upper traps, scalenes, SCM, wrist flexors and extensors.
The class is 8 live CEs, very participative, and the student receives a 12-piece cupping set with the class. Participants are encouraged to bring their cupping set from Jim’s Cupping I class with them if attended.
Previous Cupping class/basic techniques required. Students should bring: Hand towel, sheets, gel, oil or lotion, pen, water, paper towels and hand sanitizer and wear loose clothing.
Certificates will be issued upon completion of the class/workshop. Please use the name you want on your certificate when registering and the email address you want notifications sent to.
