Catholic School Coach Fired in Connection With Center City Gay Attack

Reports say that former students of Archbishop Wood are suspected of beating two gay men in Center City last week.

Arrests have yet to be made in connection to last week’s Center City attack on two gay men by a group of young men and women, but the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has already acknowledged that many of the unidentified suspects are alumni from Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster., according to theintell.com.

In a statement to the press, the Archdiocese’s communications department wrote on behalf of the high school that the violent attack is not condoned or tolerated by Archbishop Wood. It was also confirmed that the school’s assistant basketball coach was also involved and has been terminated from his position.

According to reports, video from the Sept. 11 assault was made available to the public on Tuesday, and social media users worked diligently to assist the police with identifying the suspects.
