Charlestown, East Whiteland Roads Affected By Tree Work Next Week
PennDOT crews will be removing trees along Charlestown and East Whiteland roads next week, leading to lane restrictions for drivers.
CHARLESTOWN-EAST WHITELAND, PA — Roads in East Whiteland and Charlestown townships will be affected by PennDOT tree removal work next week.
Work will affect Lancaster Avenue/U.S. 30 and Valley Hill Road in East Whiteland and Charlestown next week between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Lancaster Avenue will be restricted Tuesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July 10 between Lockwood Lane and the U.S. 30 (Exton Bypass) interchange.

Then on Thursday, July 11, Valley Hill Road in Charlestown will be restricted between Valley Beach and Shamrock Hill lanes.
All traffic during these tree operations will be controlled by flagging.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur.
