Chester Valley Trail Bridge To Close for Week

Bikers, hikers, joggers, rollerbladers and all other users of the , be advised—a portion of the trail will close the morning of Monday, July 25.

Crews will be working to repair a sinkhole near the trail bridge over Church Road. The rest of the trail will be open, but the bridge will be closed until Saturday, July 30, at 8 a.m.

From the Chester County Parks Department:

Trail users will be able to continue use of the trail up to the delineated work areas on either side of the bridge but will not be permitted to use the bridge to cross over Church Road. Please be advised that there are no existing sidewalks or off-road trails to detour around the work area.
