Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate More Than $725 to THON

Campers and students raised money to benefit children with cancer through a donation drive and dance party

Summer campers and students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Malvern recently raised more than $725 for children with cancer through The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), a student-run philanthropy that is committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. To raise money, students and campers hosted a dance party and collected donations. The money raised will provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research. At the end of the fundraiser, the classroom that collected the most money received a pizza party. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping children in need.
