Chesterbrook Academy Students Hold Food Drive for Local Nonprofit

Students collected more than 300 nonperishable food items for Philabundance

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Malvern recently donated more than 300 food items to local nonprofit Philabundance. Students hosted a food drive to help stock the organization’s shelves and provide meals to families in need in the Delaware Valley. At the end of the collection, students organized and prepared the donations for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in their community.

Philabundance is the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, acquiring, rescuing and distributing food to help feed those in need, and advocating for policies that increase food access. The mission of Philabundance is to drive hunger from communities today and end hunger forever.
