Coming Soon: 'Real Housewives of Philadelphia'?

A producer is reportedly working on a local version of Bravo's popular reality show.

Is America ready for a Philadelphia installment of the “Real Housewives” franchise? More importantly, is Philadelphia ready?

Bravo apparently thinks so. A producer for Bravo TV who created “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has been spotted in the City of Brotherly Love multiple times, The Daily News says, “interviewing some of the city’s most successful and glamorous women.”

The producer, Princess Ann Banton-Lofters, won’t confirm or deny that she’s working on such a show, The Daily News says. But despite keeping things vague, Banton-Lofters told The Daily News that she’s found “a star, 100 percent” here in the region.

The “Real Housewives,” with shows currently set in Orange County, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Miami and D.C., documents the lives of affluent women.
