Walking Tour of Sarah Bones Photo Exhibit
Come to the Malvern Public Library on Thursday, June 7th, at 7 pm to join Sarah Bones as she gives a walking tour of her photo exhibit of Bangladesh currently at the Library.
In late 2011, Sarah, part of the collective Photographers for Hope, went to Bangladesh to photograph the urban delivery centers or “birthing huts” opened by BRAC, a global development organization active in 10 countries, in the crowded slums of the country’s capital Dhaka. The exhibit also includes photographs of her stay in Dhaka…many are gripping scenes of everyday life in the chaotic city, captured while Sarah was traveling via rickshaw.
