Suburban Brewing Co. is the latest endeavor from Yost and his brewer/partner Corey Ross, owner of Fancy Camper in Malvern.

Using a small batch, all grain, one barrel system, Suburban Brewing Co. will feature eight to 12 beers on rotation, along with local Pennsylvania spirits and wine.
Initially, Suburban will offer Pennsylvania Dutch-inspired snacks made locally including beef jerky, potato chips and Bavarian pretzels.
Look for Suburban Brewing Co's concession trailer to roll out in time for spring. The trailer is being outfitted to serve some of Suburban Restaurant and Beer Garden’s signature dishes like mac and cheese, homemade pastas and barbecue.
For fun, Yost has added an area with vintage and new arcade games like Pac-Man, pin ball, shuffle alley bowling, a pool table and more.

Yost and a couple of helpers built the brewery from scratch, using reclaimed and recycles wood, pallets, and spools.
"I went from chef, to contractor, to brewer. I wore many hats putting this project together," Yost said. "I have more respect than ever for builders."
Ross will over see the brewing operations. Ross was initially brought on board to coach Yost through the brewing process. But, the two found that they shared the love of beer and the Grateful Dead. They had fun hanging out and building the brewery together.
"I’ve always loved beer and incorporating local products into my menus," Yost said. "But, over the last year, I’ve worked closely with local breweries and found I had a real passion for making beer. When I met Corey, I knew we would make a great team."
