Family Raising Money For Late Daughter's Memorial Playground
East Whiteland Township and the Bitto family are raising money to establish the Julia Bitto Memorial Playground.
EAST WHITELAND, PA — You are invited to a pancake breakfast event with a special guest in Malvern this weekend to help support building a park in honor of a local girl who lost her battle with brain cancer.
East Whiteland Township is teaming up with the Bitto family to build a memorial playground in Down East Park in honor of their daughter, Julia, who lost her battle with brain cancer in March.
To help support the project, the family and township as hosting a Pancake Breakfast & Pictures with Santa on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the General Wayne Elementary School, 20 Devon Road in Malvern.

There will be two breakfast seatings, the first from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and the second from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The event costs $10 per person or $40 per family.

Julia Lynne "Jules" Bitto, 6, died on March 14 after a long battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a rare and aggressive form of pediatric brain cancer.
