Final Stage of Route 29 Widening Starts Wednesday
The newly widened stretch of road will be repaved, PennDOT said.

The final work on to widen Route 29 in East Whiteland and Charlestown townships will begin Wednesday, Aug. 20, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Tuesday.
The newly widened Route 29 will be milled and repaved between Yellow Springs Road and Charlestown Road, PennDOT said. A portion of Charlestown Road also will be milled and repaved.
The roads will be milled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and will be paved from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, to Thursday, Aug. 28.
