Finding Mindfulness: Who knew it was this easy?
Cara Bradley led a group at Daylesford Crossing in easy to do practices that helped us all to be more mindful. Try them!

Does your brain look like this photo with lots of information that is jumbled and hard to access? Would you like to feel fully alive and enjoy every day to the fullest? The group gathered at Daylesford Crossing last night said yes to these questions and loved Finding Mindfulness shared by Cara Bradley, the owner of Verge Mind Body in Wayne.
A Hershey's Kiss was the focus of a simple but powerful practice in being mindful. Cara got each of us to slow down, and focus on that kiss. Look at the wrapper. Feel it in your hand. Open the foil and reveal the chocolate. Smell it. Then finally put in in your mouth. This practice of mindful eating showed us how much we could enjoy something as simple as a bite of chocolate that we might have just popped in our mouth without a thought and therefore missed out on the full experience.
Cara offered us a free app full of these mindful practices. You can download it from the links on her website.
