Former Malvern Fire Co. Chief Posthumously Named Hero Of The Year

The former Malvern Fire Company Chief was named Community Hero of the Year at the Relay For Life in Malvern recently.

MALVERN, PA – Paul Wilkins, the former Malvern Fire Company Chief who lost his battle with cancer, earned a posthumous distinction recently at the Main Line Relay for Life event.

Wilkins, who passed away March 14, was named the Community Hero of the Year at the Relay For Life event on June 3.

Wilkins' wife Beth Wilkins was presented with the award and the Malvern Fire Company was on hand to offer our support and again recall and appreciate all Wilkins did for the fire company and the community.

Wilkins served the Malvern Fire Company for 37 years in role including fireman, fire chief, chief engineer and, president.

"While we miss Paul around the firehouse, there is much there to see and remember Paul by, and for that we are grateful," the fire company said.
