Malvern Foundation Adds New Partner For Education Initiative

The Foundation at Great Valley is doing good things for the Great Valley School District.

The Foundation at Great Valley signed its second corporate sponsor through its new “Partners in Education” program launched this fall. Long-time area realtor and Associate Broker with RE/MAX Main Line, Bill McGarrigle and The Bill McGarrigle Team – signed on this week.

“Our Great Valley schools represent a major reason people choose to live and work in our community,” said Bill McGarrigle. “As a business that thrives in this community, I see it as my role to contribute in as many ways as I can to our schools and our young people. “

The Partners in Education program allows businesses who would like to support education to also see benefits for their financial support. Levels of sponsorship begin at a $3,000 commitment and offer benefits like athletic venue advertising, placement of business logo in Foundation and school district publications, annual golf and tennis event participation privileges, and business name acknowledgment on recognition plaques in each school.

“Bill McGarrigle and his RE/MAX team have supported the Foundation through the years,” said Foundation board Secretary, Development Committee Chair and retired General Wayne Elementary School Librarian, Marilyn Rothberg. “We are excited that they have joined our formalized Partners in Education program to bring visibility to what they do for us. It’s important for our community to understand the pivotal role our area businesses play in supporting strong Great Valley schools.”
