Free Naloxone Training In Willistown May 30

WILLISTOWN, PA – With opioids wreaking havoc on communities across the nation through crime, addiction, and overdose deaths, many may wonder how they can help curb the epidemic.

Luckily, Willistown Township Police want to help the public learn how to prevent one of those tragic aspects of the opioid crisis.

From 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, the police department is partnering with Good Fellowship Ambulance and Training Institute and Chester County Department of Drug and Alcohol Services to offer Naloxone training.

Naloxone, otherwise known as Narcan, is a drug that can reverse the effects of opioid overdoses.

The free community training will be held in the Willistown Township Police Department, located at 688 Sugartown Road in Malvern.
