Great Valley HS SAT Scores Among Best In Pennsylvania

See where the school stand among the 647 schools that were included the the Pennsylvania Department of Education's report.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education released the average 2016 SAT scores for schools statewide, and the Main Line is represented extremely well.

Great Valley High School clocked in at number 21 with an 1682 average SAT score out of a possible 2400 points, according to PDE data.

The Conestoga High School was ranked third in the state with an average of 1795. It was beat out by Julia R. Masterman High School in Philadelphia (1978) and Downingtown STEM Academy (1839).

Nearby, Lower Merion and Harriton high schools in the Lower Merion School District were ranked fifth and sixth in the average SAT scores, with 1766 and 1754, respectively.

Radnor High School earned the number eight spot with an average SAT score of 1746.
