Great Valley Nonprofit Draws Corporate Sponsors To Support Local Schools

The Foundation at Great Valley announced the first company to join their initiative on Friday in support of local schools.

The Foundation at Great Valley is drawing corporate partners to support local schools, they announced in a press release on Friday.

The Foundation said that the Renehan Building Group was the first group signed on to support the initiative.

“The Partners in Education Program offers our local business community the opportunity to support public schools in a way that also increases their visibility throughout our school community,” Foundation President Elizabeth McGarrigle said in the release. “We are thrilled to welcome Renehan Building Group as a Partner. They have been a consistent supporter of our schools and friends of The Foundation since our inception.”

The Partners in Education program allows businesses who would like to support education to also see benefits for their financial support.

Levels of sponsorship begin at a $3,000 commitment and offer benefits like athletic venue advertising, placement of business logo in Foundation and school district publications, annual golf and tennis event participation privileges, and business name acknowledgment on recognition plaques in each school, the release states.

“We have a number of businesses who have consistently supported our efforts to help maintain an educational program in our public schools that inspires and motivates students,” said McGarrigle. “The Partners in Education Program offers increased incentives for those businesses to continue their financial support. Hopefully, the program will also serve as an incentive for other businesses to come onboard. We are thrilled to be able to acknowledge our business donors in this way.”
