The Philadelphia Zoo is seeking the public’s help to name the four African lion cubs born in June to Tajiri, the zoo’s 4-year-old female.
The Philadelphia Zoo has launched an online voting contest to name the cubs. A separate voting contest will be held to name each one.
The cubs, the first litter for Tajiri and 6-year-old male Makini and the first lion cubs born at the Philadelphia Zoo since 1996, have not yet made their public debut.

The cubs are currently off-exhibit with Tajiri in her den but the zoo expects them to make their debut soon, according to the website.
