Holy Moly

The day began like any other for West Chester, Pa Morgan McCue. Horse's, barn and school have occupied her days while she has been training in South Carolina under the watchful eye of local Trainer and Equestrian Susie Beale of Radnor.

Morgan at the ripe old age of 15, has proven herself with the Pros in the World of Three Day Eventing. Her Trakhener mounts Abecca and Annie have formed a bond that every horse and rider only dream of. This past weekend at Pine Top in North Carolina, Morgan entered her first Intermediate competition. A "bundle of nerves" is one description her mother Victoria used; no one knew who was more nervous, rider or Mom & Dad.

Morgan rode clean in Cross Country and Stadium Jumping and scored 39.5 in Dressage. Happy with her scores she proudly thought she took 2nd place. After all this was her first Intermediate level competition, until one of the Pros walked up to her and gave her the news. Holy Moly she had won!
