Horse Falls Through Ice In Malvern Area: East Whiteland Fire Company
The horse is reportedly in good condition.

Emergency crews responded to a Charlestown Township farm Tuesday morning after a horse fell through ice, according to East Whiteland Fire Company.
The fire company said they were called to the farm at about 10:44 a.m. after the horse owners attempted to pull the horse from a pond for about an hour.
"The young horse was apparently curious and walked out on to the pond then fell through the ice," the fire company said.

Crews and the owners had to cut a path through the ice to reach the horse, according to the fire company.
Once the crews and owners reached the horse, they were able to pull the animal to safety.

The horse was taken to its barn and got a check up from a veterinarian, the fire company said.
The fire company said as of early Tuesday afternoon the horse is doing well.
