In Chester County overall, there were 60,226 Democratic ballots cast, and 77,286 Republican ballots cast.

The county voted for Clinton with 55.2 percent of the vote, compared to Sanders' 43.9 percent of the vote.

Nearby, Phoenixville, however, leaned decidedly toward Sanders. Sanders won 1,351 to Clinton's 1,075, winning all districts except for two.
