Hysterical "Move Over Mrs. Markham" opens Friday night, Jan. 27, at 8:00pm

Imagine the complications & deceptions when different sets of hopeful lovers all converge on an "empty" bedroom at the same time!

The hysterical British farce, MOVE OVER MRS MARKHAM, exposes the intricacies and complications which ensue when different sets of hopeful lovers all converge on an “empty” bedroom at the same time! The complications and deceptions which follow assure a hectic and hilarious evening for all, both on and off the stage!

The story is set in a very elegant top floor London apartment, belonging to Philip and Joanna Markham. The “flat” has been under renovation, and thus been largely empty, leaving it wide open for three separate couples to believe it is “free” for the evening. The owner, Philip, is a straight-laced publisher of children's books, and he reluctantly agrees to let his partner, Henry, borrow his apartment for the evening to "entertain" his latest girlfriend. At the same time, two other couples seeking a romantic hideway make plans for the same location. When all three sets of lovers converge on the apartment, expecting to find it empty, chaos and confusion ensue in a way only the British can portray! The events that follow in the Ray Cooney and John Chapman play assure a hectic and hilarious evening.
