Increased Security At Great Valley, Police Activity In Area

MALVERN, PA — Additional security measures were put in place at Great Valley schools on Friday afternoon due to police activity in the area.

Police swarmed the area Friday afternoon with a helicopter and patrol cars in their search for a burglary suspect.

The incident occurred at a local grocery store, the district said. No weapons were displayed during the crime, according to police.

All Great Valley schools will dismiss on time, and evening activities will go on as scheduled, the district said.
