Internet-Famous Hot Chicken Joint To Open First Main Line Location
Starting with a nondescript location in a gas station parking lot, the chain has grown to 15 restaurants in the region.

MALVERN, PA — A Philly-founded, social media-famous chain of hot chicken eateries is coming soon to the Main Line.
Asad's Hot Chicken was founded four years ago in Philadelphia, right as the Nashville hot chicken craze spread to the city. Starting with a nondescript location in a gas station parking lot, Asad's has grown to 15 locations through Greater Philly.
The first Asad's on the Main Line is set to open next week in Malvern.

Asad's serves hot chicken sandwiches, sliders and tenders, with six spices ranging from "no spice" to "scorchin'." Mac and cheese, loaded fries, milkshakes and fruit smoothies round out the menu.
The restaurants also have a massive social-media following, with more than 350,000 Instagram followers.

Asad's in Malvern will be located at 490 Lancaster Ave. The grand opening, set from 3-6 p.m. June 12, will offer free food, according to Asad's.
