Lane Restrictions To Affect East Whiteland Traffic This Week

Work will restrict traffic on northbound U.S. 202 and the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 this week.

EAST WHITELAND, PA — Northbound U.S. 202 and the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 will have restrictions this week in East Whiteland, and West Whiteland, PennDOT said.

Crews will be conducting concrete pavement repairs in the area.

Below are traffic restrictions that will be in place to accommodate the work:

  • Monday, May 13, through Thursday, May 16, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and continuously from 8 p.m. Friday, May 17, to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, northbound U.S. 202 will be restricted to a single lane between the Boot Road and Route 401 interchanges;
  • Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and to 8 a.m. Saturday, May 18, the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to the U.S. 30 Business exit, turn right on U.S. 30 Business and right on the ramp to northbound U.S. 202; and
  • From 8 a.m. Saturday, May 18, to noon Sunday, May 19, the ramp from the eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to northbound U.S. 202 will be reduced to one lane.

Motorists are advised that backups may occur at times approaching the work zone.
