Seeing as how it's Apple Picking Time, seems like a great way to share this recipe for the yummiest Apple Crisp ever. And the topping is so delightfully delicious because it isn't make with oats, or brown sugar. It's a simple combination of sugar, butter and flour. Hope you enjoy!
Apple Crisp
4-6 cups of peeled apples
1-2 Tsp Cinnamon
3/4 cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 stick of butter or margerine
Slice and peel apples and put in a loaf casserole pan. sprinkle with a few drops of water and the desired amount of cinnamon. Mix the flour, sugar and butter (easier to do if butter is at room temperature) alternatively can be mixed with on/off bursts in the food processor. Sprinkle over top of the apples and bake for 1 hour at 350 in preheated oven.
