Malvern-Area Family's Charity Gives Hope To Families With Sick Children
Families with sick children are very grateful for the Kolbe Fund.

One area charity is nearing an impressive milestone.
In just two years of operation, the Exton-based Kolbe Fund has provided nearly 1,000 nights of lodging to families traveling to the region to receive top care for their sick children.
The founders of the Kolbe Fund, Kate and Aaron Schnittman, learned firsthand the difficulties families face in caring for sick children. Their son, Max, was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age four.

Thanks to top notch care, Max is healthy and happy today, and the Schnittman’s want to give other families the same hope.
Workers say that the Kolbe Fund is unique in that it is not specific to one condition, but rather supports families regardless of a child’s diagnosis.

Most of the beneficiaries of the 1,000 nights have been from the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area.
A Rhythm & Brews fundraiser will be held for the Kolbe Fund on October 25 at Appleford in Villanova. For more information, please click here.
