Malvern-Area Public, Private School Rankings, According To Niche

MALVERN, PA – Data compiler Niche.com recently ranked what it says are the top 100 public and private schools across all grade levels in Pennsylvania. So how do schools in the Great Valley School District and Malvern-area private schools compare to others in the Keystone State?

First let's look at Niche's methodology.

The ranks are based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users. You can read the methodology by clicking here.

Great Valley School District schools were ranked as such:

• Great Valley High School – 50th
• Kathryn D. Markley Elementary School – 88th

Private schools in the area were ranked:

• Church Farm School, Exton – 28th
• Devon Prepartory School, Devon – 33rd
• Malvern Preparatory School, Malvern – 36th

The top five schools in Niche's list are Germantown Friends School, Philadelphia; The Haverford School, Haverford; The Baldwin School, Bryn Mawr; The Episcopal Academy, Newtown Square; and The Hill School, Pottstown.

Every school on this top 100 list received either an A+ or an A for an overall score from Niche.
