Malvern Boy Earns Role In Walnut Street Theatre's 'The Wizard of Oz'

MALVERN, PA -- Malvern actor and sixth grader Jacob Wilner will perform in Walnut Street Theatre’s production of “The Wizard Of Oz."

Wilner currently attends Great Valley Middle School. He will play the role of the Munchkin Mayor in the Philadelphia production of the classic musical.

According to a news release, it's Wilner's third year performing at Walnut Street.

Wilner is scheduled to appear in all weekday performances of the production. The same role will be played by Actor Lyam David-Kilker on weekends, the release states.
