Malvern Company Seeks To Heal Warts: Report

One Malvern could be getting close to a huge breakthrough.

Aclaris Therapeutics, headquartered on 101 Lindenwood Drive, has begun testing on a new therapy for common warts, a report states.

More than 100 patients will be enrolled in phase-II of clinical trials for A-101, a topical drug the company is developing, according to the report.

“Studying A-101 in a second dermatological condition is an important milestone as we continue to expand our development pipeline,” Dr. Neal Walker, president and CEO of Aclaris, told the Philadelphia Business Journal.

About 1.9 million people are diagnosed with warts annually.
