The Chester County Health Department has inspected several Malvern establishments over the past few weeks. Here's what they found.

The Chester County Health Department has inspected several local area locations over the past few weeks.

Sunrise Assisted Living led the way with eight violations. Some offenses included storing ice cream scoops in water, placing prep table below "insect control device," lunch meat and other hazardous foods stored at wrong temperatures, missing thermometers, and more.

  • Wegmans, inspected August 31, no violations
  • Jamba Juice, inspected August 26, two violations
  • Sunrise Assisted Living, inspected August 26, eight violations
  • Applebrook, inspected August 25, one violation
  • Great Valley Marriott, inspected August 23, two violations
  • Cornucopia Deli at Ricoh, inspected August 11, one violation
  • Holiday Inn Express, inspected August 11, two violations
  • Laymen's Retreat League, inspected August 9, no violations
  • Strawberry Bakery, inspected August 9, one violation
  • Venice Pizza and Pasta, inspected August 9, no violations
