Malvern Health Inspections: Smashburger, Twenty 9, Sodexo, More

MALVERN, PA -- The Chester County Health Department has inspected 12 Malvern area locations over the past month.

The following inspections cover the period between October 5 and November 10. Inspections fall into one of several categories: a regular unannounced visit, a scheduled follow-up to address previous violations, a complaint, or an inspection performed at the opening of a facility.

Twenty 9 Restaurant and Bar had one of the highest numbers of violations, at eight total. Some violations included incorrect refrigerator air temperature, incorrect sanitizing procedures, food surfaces left uncleaned, flooring uncleaned, and more.

• Smashburger, inspected November 3, three violations (follow-up)
• Paradise Biryani Pointe, inspected November 2, no violations (follow-up)
• St. Patrick School, inspected October 24, four violations (regular)
• Aramark @ Bryn Mawr Rehab, inspected October 20, five violations (regular)
• Great Valley Middle School, inspected October 20, two violations (Regular)
• Great Valley Senior High School, inspected October 20, no violations (Regular)
• Charlestown Elementary School, inspected October 18, one violation
• Sodexo - Vanguard @ Quarry Ridge, inspected October 18, two violations (regular)
• Sugartown Elementary School, inspected October 18, no violations (Regular)
• Twenty 9 Restaurant and Bar, inspected October 13, eight violations (regular)
• Sodexo @ St. Gobain North America, inspected October 12, nine violations (regular)
• Malvern Pizza, inspected October 7, no violations (follow-up)
