In Malvern, A Hunt for Pictures and History
The Malvern Scavenger Hunt will be back, with an emphasis on history in honor of the borough's 125th anniversary.
This weekend, kids will get get a chance to hunt for both pictures and history around Malvern Borough.
The Great Malvern Scavenger Hunt will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. Showtime is 1:30 p.m. The hunt starts and finishes at Burke Parke and is bounded by King Street, Ruthland Avenue, First Avenue and Malvern Avenue.
The hunt “promotes independence in children by enhancing their powers of observation and increasing their knowledge of the Malvern area,” organizers said.

Teams will have two to four children on them, and are organized into groups of under 8; ages 9 to 12; and 13 to 16.
