Malvern Man Charged With DUI In Hit And Run
A woman was injured and the man "threatened officers" upon his arrest. He claimed he only had two beers after failing a sobriety test.

LOWER MERION, PA -- A Malvern man has been charged in a hit and run that occurred in a CVS parking lot in Rosemont on January 31.
Bret Stopper, 37, of Landmark Drive, was at the CVS at about 5:51 p.m. that night, according to Main Line Media News, when he crashed into the back of a woman’s car at a high rate of speed.
The woman suffered neck and back injuries in the incident, the report states.

The car sped away, but the woman called 911 and the car was pulled over on Lancaster Avenue.
Stopper failed a field sobriety test when he was arrested and also ”threatened officers,” the report states.

He claimed he only had two beers.
He has been charged with terroristic threats, harassment, and DUI, along with other offenses.
