Malvern Police, Fire Company Holding 2020 Graduation Parade

MALVERN, PA —Police and firefighters in Malvern are planning to honor Malvern-area 2020 graduates with a special parade.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, the Malvern Borough Police and Fire Departments will be like honoring Malvern-area graduates' academic achievements with a Graduation Celebration Parade.

"We know that the end of your most important year was cut short due to COVID-19 and we want you to know how proud we are of you for handling this disappointment," the borough said in the announcement. "Whether you are graduating from high school, college, grad school, or any specialty school, it is a time to celebrate!!"

2020 grads will be honored with lights and sirens going from police and fire vehicles.

Grads are invited to come outside with their families as the first responders drive by, caps and gowns are encouraged.

"This is a time to be all about you and we here at Malvern Borough Police and Fire Departments want you to know how excited we are for all of you," the borough said.
