MALVERN, PA -- Malvern Prep has named Rev. Donald F. Reilly their new Head of School, they announced in a news release Tuesday.

Reilly will succeed current Head Christian Talbot, who announced earlier this year that he would resign at the end of this academic year, Malvern Prep said.

According to his biography, Reilly is the president and CEO of Saint Augustine Prep in Richland, NJ. He is also the former Provincial of the Saint Thomas of Villanova Province.

“Christmas came early this year because Malvern Prep has found the perfect new leader,” Malvern Prep Board Chair Steve Cloetingh said in a press release. “Three months ago, Malvern launched a highly consultative search process that identified the ideal qualities and experience of our next head of school, and Father Reilly possesses every one of the personal, leadership and academic qualities identified. He also knows Malvern well as a longtime board member.”

Reilly will be Malvern's 14th Head in their history. He is a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Villanova University (undergraduate), Washington Theological Union (graduate) and New York Theological Seminary (doctorate).
