Malvern Prep Dominates Sailing Awards Ceremony: Report

Malvern Prep athletes dominated the Main Line Scholastic Sailing Association (MLSSA) Fall Season Awards banquet in November, according to a report.

Kieran Cullen, head of A boat, and Louis Margay, head of B boat, were honored along with teammates Pat Sayers, Tom Pero and Will Himmelreich, the report states.

The sailing team won the prestigious Bell Cup in rough conditions, according to Main Line Media News.

In the same competition, Conestoga placed third, with Harriton, Radnor, and Villa Marie also competing.

The spring racing season begins in April, and competition will launch anew then.

MLSSA races are held at the Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia in Essington.
