Malvern Prep Football and Soccer Players Announce College Choices on National Signing Day

On National Signing Day, five Malvern Prep senior student-athletes announced their intentions to play collegiate athletics

Today, on National Signing Day, five Malvern Prep senior student-athletes announced their intentions to play collegiate athletics

“We are proud of these young men and our tradition of shaping outstanding scholar-athletes who are leaders on and off the field,” says Malvern Athletic Director Kurt Ruch. “We look forward to following their careers, and we know they will represent Malvern Prep well.”

Of particular note, Andrew Aprahamian, a resident of Malvern, today signed his National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Stanford University, the 2015 Division I national champions. Aprahamian spent his high school career with the Philadelphia Union Academy club team.

Football:
Jake Glavin (Chester Springs) – James Madison University
Jerry Curran (Springfield) – Lycoming College
Zachary Fernandez (Wayne) – Johns Hopkins University

Andrew Aprahamian (Malvern) – Stanford University
Cullen Pina (West Chester) – Swarthmore College

This fall, 16 other Malvern Prep student-athletes announced their college choices.
