Malvern School of Music Students Raise $2,700
The members of Burnt Toast and Jam put on a concert last weekend to benefit the Eric Brown Scholarship fund.

By James Boyle:
The members of the Malvern School of Music’s Senior High Rock Band, otherwise known as Burnt Toast and Jam, held a free concert Saturday night at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Frazier. The jam was tasty enough to encourage audience members to donate a total of $2,700 to the group.
The band performed selections from Chicago, Loggins and Messina, Aerosmith, Motown and the Black Keys. Donations were given to the Eric Brown Scholarship fund that provides financial assistance for children who wish to pursue music study and to the new Covenant Youth Center.
