Malvern's Vanguard To Donate Gifts To 1,800 Needy Children

Employees at Vanguard in Malvern buy wish lists for underprivileged children during the holiday season.

MALVERN, PA -- Malvern-headquartered business Vanguard will donate gifts to 1,800 children around the Delaware Valley this holiday season.

The donations are part of the 21st annual Sponsor-a-Child holiday program, in which employees buy wish lists for children in need. The program is executed through the Delaware Valley Children's Charities.

The gifts include toys, clothing, electronics, and bikes, and will be picked up from Vanguard's warehouse by agencies DVCC provides for, including: ChesPenn Health Services, Community Action Agency, and Easter Seals Society.

Since the program’s inception in 1995, Vanguard crew have donated over $250,000 of presents, household necessities, and holiday meals to children around the world, the company said.
