McNabb set to compete in the 2017 Senior PGA Championship

PGA of America Club Professional David McNabb of Malvern, PA will fulfil a lifelong dream when he tees off in the 2017 Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid, May 23-28 at Trump National Golf Club, in Washington, D.C. The tournament marks McNabb’s first Senior PGA Championship appearance. As he prepares to compete alongside golf legends Tom Watson, John Daly, Bernhard Langer and others, McNabb must make the necessary arrangements to ensure his everyday responsibilities as PGA Head Professional at Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern, PA are covered.

While competing on TOUR is the primary job of many professional golfers, McNabb is a PGA club professional at Applebrook Golf Club. His job consists of teaching lessons, golf shop operations, managing member responsibilities, executing player development programs and other tasks.

McNabb is one of 35 PGA club professionals from across the U.S. to qualify for the Senior PGA Championship. While this is the culmination of a dream, McNabb is well aware that associates, colleagues and management will pick up his workload at the club, as he competes against the world’s top senior players.
