The Nelly Berman School of Music, located on the Main Line, in Haverford, is offering a one week summer music camp from July 28th to August 1st, for ages 7-16. This personalized program for up to 20 students is unusually high-quality , providing unparalleled one-on-one attention. The emphasis here is on quality of instruction, the results of which parents can hear for themselves at the concert on Friday for family and friends. The program includes individual lessons, chamber music, and a new class where students will be taught how to use music editing and notation software (Garageband and Noteflight). The focus of this class will be theory, note-writing, and composition, in addition to songwriting and instrumentation.
