New KOP Target is East Coast’s Largest

The store opened on Sunday.

The largest Target on the East Coast opened on Sunday. And it’s right around the corner in King of Prussia.

The store is 165,000 square feet, Philadelphia Business Journal reports, with a grocery area that’s 40 percent bigger than the average Target.

And the store is clearly prepared for an influx of eager shoppers: It’s on top of a 400-space parking garage, the Business Journal said; there’s room for another 400 cars in the parking lot out front.
