New Pet Valu to Open in Exton

Pet lovers rejoice: a new Pet Valu will open in Exton this weekend. The new store is located at the Festival at Exton on 470 West Lincoln Highway.

A grand opening will take place this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Linda Milanese Kerschner will sign copies of her new book, Kat’s Kittens, a children’s book about cats and how to care for them. Guests can also take photos in a photo booth, win raffle prizes and enjoy complimentary refreshments. The first 50 customers who make a purchase will receive a special goody bag full of fun animal supplies, organizers said.

LaMancha Animal Rescue, Brandywine Valley SPCA and Spay and Save, Inc. will also be onsite throughout the day facilitating animal adoptions.
