Last year, the Chester County SPCA added new programs and services following the model of other animal welfare organizations across the country. Simply providing animal intake, adoption, and euthanasia no longer fulfills all the needs of pets in our community. Low-cost spay/neuter, affordable veterinary care, behavioral training, and safety net programs to help keep pets in their homes are needed to bring balance.

Currently, The Chester County SPCA is operating all of these programs and services from the shelter location. While the Staff is managing, these conditions are far from ideal. More space is needed for further expansion to meet all the needs of the community.
