Night Belongs to GOP in Malvern
Other than Gov. Tom Corbett, every Republican on the ballot in Malvern won.

With nearly 95 percent of Chester County precincts reporting, the night belonged to the Republicans -- at least here in Malvern.
In the race for the 6th Congressional District seat being vacated by Rep. Jim Gerlach, Republican Ryan A. Costello beat Democrat Manan Trivedi, 54.77 to 45.23 percent.
Delaware County Council Chairman Thomas J. McGarrigle was elected to the state Senate in the 26th Senatorial District with 55.14 percent of the vote. McGarrigle, who is taking Edwin B. Erickson’s seat, beat Democrat John I. Kane Sr.

In Malvern’s Legislative District race, Rep. Duane Milne (R-167th) beat Democrat Anne R. Crowley, 61.21 to 38.79 percent.
