Paoli Battlefield Heritage Day Set For Saturday In Malvern
There will be firing demonstrations, re-enactors, a mock battle, a beer garden, food trucks, and more at the annual Heritage Day Saturday.
MALVERN, PA — The Paoli Battlefield Preservation fund is hosting their annual Heritage Day this weekend, complete with re-enactors, demonstrations, and more.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 21 at Monument and Wayne avenues in Malvern.
See re-enactors from the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, Mexican-American War, the Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, and (hopefully) the National Guard, in camps and displaying the dress and items they carried into battle. Attendees will be able to interact with the soldiers, see the weapons they used and learn about the clothing and other gear that these soldiers needed to outfit themselves on the battlefield.

Re-enactors will hold a mock battle between British Forces and Continental Forces, as well.
There will be a firing demonstration, a lesson about the evolution of the guns, military vehicles, crafts, and more.

Kids can enjoy face painting, a puppet show, balloon animals, and a puzzle game.
Adults will enjoy a beer garden featuring Locust Lane brews.
Food trucks from Nick's Roast Beef, Scoops N Smiles, The Alicat Cafe, Mobile Mess Hall, Big Ben Baked Potato Company, and Crab Cake Truck.
The day will close the day with remembrance to all veterans killed in the line of duty with a wreath laying ceremony at the monuments.
It costs $10 for a single ticket and $20 for a family of up to 5 people. Children under 5 get in for free.
