Paoli Battlefield Hosting Wreaths Across America Ceremony Dec. 16

For the first time ever, the Paoli Battlefield will host a Wreaths Across America event honoring 53 revolutionary soldiers who died there.

MALVERN, PA – The Paoli Battlefield in Malvern will host its first ever Wreaths Across America ceremony during which wreaths will be laid outside the mass grave soldiers who died in one of the Revolutionary War's bloodiest battles that took place right here on the Main Line.

At 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, the Paoli Battlefield Historical Park, along with Chester County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Paoli Battlefield Preservation Fund, and the Paoli Memorial Association, will host the ceremony and the public is invited to attend.

You can purchase a wreath to be placed on the mass grave of 52 soldiers who died in the battle, or for the 53rd soldier who died in a nearby wooded area, during the Sept. 20, 1777 revolutionary battle.
